Waiting

We were pleasantly surprised to get a referral on April 1st, 2011.  We had put the China adoption on hold since Tori, our adopted daughter from South Korea turned 2 years on January 30, and we prefered to have close to 2 years in age between the girls.  We had only reactivated the China adoption a few days before receiving the referral.  Ellie was born October 17, 2010 and is from Tonggu County.  Unfortunately, we had let all our immigration paperwork expire and now have to conform with the Hague Convention guidelines.  Finally, today, June 25, I received the I800 approval!  I am really hoping to travel by late August so Ellie will about 10 months old when she comes home.
